ideaclyst.com is a static informational website. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics, advertising, or user accounts, and there are no forms that submit data to us. The processing that does occur is described below.

When you access the site, your browser automatically transmits technical information that the hosting provider stores in server log files, in particular: IP address, date and time of the request, the requested file/URL, the referrer URL, and your browser and operating system. This data is processed to deliver the website securely and reliably and to detect and resolve technical faults.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the hosting provider.

All fonts are self-hosted on this server — they are delivered from ideaclyst.com itself. No font files are requested from Google Fonts or any third-party CDN, so no data (including your IP address) is transmitted to Google or any external font provider when you view this site.

The IdeaClyst application itself is a local-first tool that runs on your own machine. Idea sessions are stored locally on your device, not on this website or its servers. This privacy policy covers only the website ideaclyst.com.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77); in Bavaria this is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA).
